Issues with Emily

Emily is an absolute delight, so friendly and alert and active. The trouble may be that she is too active. She is below the third centile for weight. At nearly nine moths old, she has only just hit the 6kg mark, but she sits in the middle centile for height. Quite how two large adults made such a petite wee thing is a mystery to me. Be that as it may though, the issue lies with her weight, which is now worrying the health professionals. . Subsequently Emily, at the tender age of eight months is now on a high fat diet. We are encouraged to feed her biscuits slathered with peanut butter and hazelnut spreads, offer her meats cooked in lard and cheese sticks  and any other fatty foods we can think of to boost her weight. Hopefully this works and she puts on weight.
